Creative Journaling Workshops for Life Transitions
You know you’re going through transition when life surprises you with a new direction. It can be an unexpected time of sadness, depression or joy. Some call it an unwelcomed fog or a storm that sneaks up on you. Change has a way of turning our head and heart towards a new thing and sometimes leaves our heads spinning in a whirlwind of chaos.
So now what?
Creativity no matter how small, gives a place to uncover and look at where your transition is taking you. In a self directed, no right or wrong writing process, this class is an opportunity to explore the place you now find yourself. How so?
These classes are for anyone who is...
going through or recently gone through a life transition: cancer, divorce, grief, empty nest, career changes, etc. If you’re kid, teen, adult, single, widowed, married, a mother, a father, care-taker or anyone who at some point has felt alone and somewhat terrified about the future, you’re invited to join these workshops.
No writing or art experience is necessary. We will use the Journal to the Self® Workbook which is filled with 18 writing techniques for writers and non-writers alike.
In every workshop you’ll find...
Self-sourced solutions for organizing your thoughts
Relief from the weight of transitional seasons and why they are so important
Personal power in spite of the current season of “drought”
The writer within you, even if you’re not a writer
Record for the future of how your life unfolds
